This are my Personal Information about my self, my profile, my autobiography, and my gallery containing a picture of me, my family, my lover, and my friends
My name is Salvador, Lourenz Jay G., from the peaceful whispering town of Furao, Gamu Isabela. The
town in which I grew up, a place that gave me the tools to be who I am today and set the path on which my
life would lead. This is where I began to be shaped, where my values, beliefs, and dreams started to
appear; the bedrock of my lifelong love of learning, sports, and self-development.
The day I began kindergarten marks the beginning of my story. This would just seem like one of the
many steps that you take during childhood, but for me was much more phase. From then on it was the first
step towards a learning and personal growth journey that would define my love for learning. I remember
those days when the world felt enormous and there was so much more out there you couldn't possibly
comprehend all of it. Each day was an adventure, and with every lesson that I learned, I would grow more
inquisitive of the world about.
As I progressed through elementary to senior high school, the commitment to my studies never
wavered. I was an honor student throughout, and this achievement is very precious to me. It's not just the
grades, it's also the glee of learning new ideas, experiencing a sense of satisfaction whenever I mastered
some tough subjects. What I soon learned, though, was that education is not something to be treated
lightly, but rather, it is a key which can unlock countless doors in life.
While academics saturated my life, they only accounted for half of who I am as a whole. I also
became a dedicated student-athlete. It was not easy balancing my academic life and my love for sports, but
that's one of the biggest lessons that I have learned in life. I have studied as a student-athlete
disciplinedly and managed properly as something always had to be worked on. Some days would be
really tiring as I took off really from the review of my exams in school and went directly to
practice.
Sports played the most important role in my life in terms of development. They taught me the value
of working together as a team, staying strong under tough circumstances, and not getting discouraged by
slight setbacks towards a goal. Whether it was in the basketball court or at the athletic field,
success comes to no one's hands; it is achieved when one has a zeal to work hard and prove oneself. These
lessons extend far beyond sports themselves, but also even dictate how I approach every bit of my
life. One of the most profound realizations in my life is the importance of self-discovery. Experiences in
and out of school have also taught me that knowing oneself is the key to unlocking one's potential. For
a while, I had the problem of not knowing who I was or what I wanted to achieve. Through reflection
and wanting to accept all the challenges, I managed to understand my own strengths and
weaknesses.
I have come to realize how powerful self-awareness can be. It has enabled me to tap my strengths and
really make a use of them—be it academic, sporting, or social perspectives. It has also made me more
receptive to growth for the simple fact that there is always scope for improvement. Every challenge
I face—from that difficult subject to that challenging opponent in sports—is the opportunity to learn
and grow.
In the near future, my professional goals are to be successful in everything that I put my mind to.
Among what I enjoy the most is technology, especially web development. It really intrigues me how
people code and create websites; hence, I intend to master it. The ultimate dream that promotes my ambition
and motivates me to strive hard in learning and increasing my competencies is being a full-stack
developer.
Yes. I love creating sites that are both functional and great-looking, sites which people will use
and enjoy.
To me, Web Development is not just a profession, but a way of making a difference. The digital world
is
not standing still, and I'd love to be a part of the change. I believe that technology has a power
to
solve real-world problems, and I would like to contribute to that by creating platforms that will
make
people's lives better. It is the passion to keep learning, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries
of
what can be done.
Of course, one of the guiding principles of my life has been not to underestimate people based on
their appearance or initial impression. We meet many people in our lives who, at first glance, don't seem
to have much to offer, but yet time and again we are proved wrong, and we find that everyone does have his
or her story and potential. The belief has shaped my way of interpersonal relationships. I try to see beyond surface and
recognize the differences created by varied experiences, which adds up the different talents in the room. It
is easy to look at people on the basis of their real appearance; however, most of the time moving past
judgments that gives me a chance from learning things from someone. Keeping open-minded has allowed
me to form meaningful connections with people and has helped me grow as a person.
Of course, my journey wasn't without its struggles. I had to work through being a shy person who is
afraid, voiceless, and silent most times—from school to social settings. Not easy by any means to
work with that, but through effort and self-evaluation, I gradually worked on gaining self-confidence and
pushed myself out of that shell. This is a victory within, which I carry close to my heart. The overcoming of fear is never easy, and
for that matter, it has been a necessary step of growth. Every time I found myself before a situation
that made me nervous and anxious, I told myself that I was strong enough to handle it. And every time I
succeeded, my confidence grew. Today, I am so much more comfortable with who I am and what I am able
to achieve. And fear no longer keeps me from going into the pursuit of my dreams.
Perhaps the greatest source of motivation that I have had in life has been the sacrifices made for
me by my parents. They are my inspirations in doing a hard work and being dedicated for it, because I want
to succeed not only for me but also to make them proud. My parents have always believed in me even in times as when I myself doubted myself. Thus, their support strengthens me that I'll have the
strength to go on even when things get tough.
I want my success to mirror their efforts and values. Every step I take towards my goal is driven by
a sense of wanting to honor them and make sure that all their sacrifices have not been in vain. I
believe in making the best use of opportunities that have been given to me and building a future that they
can look up to and be proud of.
